The silver generation has proved to be the toughest in facing the crisis generated by the pandemic, amidst isolation, prohibitions and the fear of a disease that in many cases is lethal. This is one of the most significant data from the second issue of the Tendercapital-Censis Silver Economy Observatory presented at the Senate, “La Silver economy nell’anno più nero” (“The silver economy in the darkest year”), according to which 69.3% of the elderly declare that they have not suffered from psychophysical stress since March 2020, while the figure drops to 23.3% among young people and 34.1% among adults. A great capacity for resilience and adaptation, an ‘urge to relive’ that has pushed the elderly to start again.
